Frequently Asked Questions

To make your wearable art last a lifetime, handwash or spot clean with cold water with mild detergent, castile soap, or vinegar. Squeeze excess water or roll in a towel. DO NOT WRING!
It’s totally normal for your piece to change shape while washing. To reset this, simply lay it flat in the desired shape. Do not hang to dry, as the item may stretch.
Crochet is super forgiving, but to keep the original shape of your garment when you’re not wearing it, DON’T hang; fold it! Hanging a crochet or knit item, like a sweater, can stretch & misshape the item.

I’m so happy you asked! Customs are so fun to create. On the upcycle page, scroll to the bottom and select the type of custom you’d like. Once you click “add to cart” fill out the info in the pop-up. I will contact you directly to confirm the design details. Having trouble deciding? Reach out to me here and we can brainstorm together
Since each piece is handmade, expect subtle differences. Each custom item is handmade using {mostly} small batched artisanal materials, resulting in small variations of color for a unique item you’ll love for years to come. Allow 4-12 weeks to complete your order.

Commissions are orders that are not based on existing pieces. If you like to start from scratch with a new idea, please fill out this form. Once I receive your inquiry, keep an eye out for an email. We will chat via email or have a brief video call to discuss the details.

In addition to the many hours that go into each handmade piece, I do my best to source my materials from other small businesses that are environmentally sustainable!

I prefer to use natural materials, like wool, cotton/hemp, silk, or bamboo, for my items. Each item will specify what material I used for the one-off piece. With customs, you have the freedom to decide this detail, so if you prefer a different material, we can come up with an alternative.
